They’ve just moved to Greensboro from Hickory, NC. I am very glad. The three piece consists of guitar, drums, and vocals. Very mid-fi.

After completely disappearing for almost a whole year, Samuel Burdett, the Scrimshaw Kid himself, showed up at the last night of the Save the Monkeywhale Festival. I could not believe it.

Saturday at the Deep River Music Festival was 11 and a half hours of straight live music. The Virginia Dare Devils, Haw River Rounders, Wyndy Trail Travelers, Ralph Roddenbery Trio with Scott Mecredy, and Greensboro’s Milltown performed.

It was day one of the Deep River Music Festival. Molly McGinn, Molly Miller, and Kasey Horton took to the stage as Amelia’s Mechanics. Molly McGinn may be the funniest person I have ever met.
