Two guys. Two guitars and a mandolin. Two singers. Until two in the morning. Here are some mysterious photographs of this awkwardly spelled duo.
Spelling is the only thing that’s awkward about Mystkdog. I definitely don’t hold it against them.
Extremely tight rhythms, sweet tones, and some damn fine singing. The dynamic duo headlined the Flatiron Friday night, following Amelia’s Mechanics and Marc Cool. The Radials‘ Stephen Corbett acted as m.c. for the show, and sat in with Mystkdog on a couple of songs.
What can I tell you? They are a consistently good folk-rock duo that gets better every time I see them. Find out for yourself.
