There was no design or concept when the Harvey’s Kitchen series began. We just had a kitchen, a white backdrop and a camera. Since October we’ve shot over 70 videos and some suggested it was becoming an obsession. Maybe those people were right. Well, I’d like to personally thank all of those musicians and personalities that took a chance on us. This community and state has a lot to offer.
So, here’s the good news … the influential music magazine, Paste, recently listed the Harvey’s Kitchen series alongside La Blogotheque and Pitchfork.tv as one of the best 10 out-of-context concert web series. Keep in mind that pitchfork.tv gets large revenues from advertisers and La Blogoteque operates with both endowments from the French Government and private donors and we operate on sheer tenacity out of our home. We’d like to keep this series going. So, if you’re a music lover help support us by directing traffic our way and keep your eyes open for the Save the Monkeywhale Festival October 1st, 2nd and 3rd right here in Greensboro, NC.
Thank you and more thanks.
