You can’t get fooled again.  I think that’s what Bush said.   Well,  Go Triad has done it to me today.  The fooling, the shame, the public embarassment….   On March 4th I posted a tiny blog encouraging people to pick up said paper because we were told there was going to be an article about Harvey and the Kitchen series.  Joe Scott had come and done an interview with Harvey, H. Scott Hoffman, photographer for the News and Record, had stopped by and snapped off a few shots and so it seemed this thing was happening.   The next morning we happily walked down our street to the paper box only to find our article was nowhere to be found.   Deeply saddened, slightly distraught and possibly emotionally scarred,  I reached out to Joe Scott across the internets and was reassured by a Facebook message that the article would appear in the March 19th issue. 

Fast forward two weeks.  Repost the blog.  Awake the next morning with excitement and anticipation.  Walk down the street again with change jingling in our pockets.  Open paper box, sift through sections to Go Triad.  Not on the cover.  Not in the contents.  Not anywhere.  Why, oh why, does Go Triad not love us anymore?  Have we done something to offend the “liberal media”?  Do the fine folks at the News and Record not want to save the monkeywhale?  Stay tuned as we try to get some answers.  Here’s Harvey this morning.  Feel his pain.
