Media Magic Right Here at Home

1 Comments 03 Dec, 2008

Last night the good people of dotmatrix hosted their Media Showcase at the Carousel Cinemas in Greensboro. This evening was all about celebrating local musicians, filmmakers, photographers, editors, sound engineers, fans, family, friends and the monkeywhale.

Okay, well some of us were more concerned with the monkeywhale than others, but nonetheless it was a lovely evening full of creative, collaborative efforts in a town where people say nothing happens. Indeed it is happening and you need look no further than right here for proof.

monkeywhale.com was proud to be involved in this project that included such talented people (some of whom we’re lucky enough to call friends ) as Sean Coon, Andy Coon, Danny Bayer, Don Ravon, Micah Moore, Molly McGinn, Marshall Owen, Citified and countless bands and generally inspiring people who make Greensboro an interesting place to live.

And yes, they played our Eating the Invaders video on the big screen. Did we mention we were excited? If you missed it here’s a little look…

Congrats to Sean and everyone who made this happen.  Keep it comin’!
