Music Tonight!

3 Comments 11 Apr, 2009

There’s a whole lot of stuff going on tonight, folks, whether it’s baseball or bar hopping or hangin’ on the front porch with your neighbors.  And of course, there’s music.  A whole lot of it.  It’s a beautiful Saturday and it’s imperative that you step away from your computer (after you’ve caught up on all your monkeywhale viewing) and head out tonight.   Check out our calendar for details.

Two shows you must know about:   Holy Ghost Tent Revival with The Never and Lost In the Trees at Studio B. in downtown Greensboro tonight.  9:30pm.  Be there and bring your dancing shoes.  These guys are going to tear it up and fun is guaranteed.  Part of the monkeywhale crew will most definitely be there working the sound, chatting up the crowd, taking some photos and hopefully dancing it out.

Another part of the Monkeywhale crew is headed to Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro to hear Katharine Whalen’s Lucky along with the Jon Shain Trio and Sally Spring with the Ted Lyons Experience.  Still and video cameras will be attending!  New and exciting stuff that you will be hearing more of right here on monkeywhale.com.

Oh yes, it’s a good day to live in NC.

  3. Studio B was off the hook. Corduroy Road opened the show. All I gotta say is: if you missed The Never, may you never miss The Never again.
