Stephen Colbert's Christmas Special

0 Comments 23 Nov, 2008

Okay, folks.  You have about fifteen minutes!  I know it’s Sunday night and there’s football and “24″ and the American Music Awards, not to mention all sorts of crime shows featuring grisly murders of innocent people.  Nonetheless, I think it’s safe to bet that we will all be happier humans if we tune in to Comedy Central tonight at 10pm tonight.

Despite my earlier rant about Christmas music I think it’s safe to assume that A Colbert Christmas is sure to be a a wonderful thing.   I’ve resisted reading too much about it, but it sounds like there will be, among many other things, inspiring skits and songs and even a duet between Colbert and Willie Nelson who apparently appears in a sketch as a tiny wise man in a miniature nativity scene.  Sounds like genius to me.
