Blind Pilot: Behind the Scenes

2 Comments 31 Mar, 2009

Portland, Oregon based Blind Pilot came blazing through our Kitchen this week on their way to a show at Studio B in downtown Greensboro.  It was fast and furious and we loved every second of it.  In less than half an hour Israel and Ryan had a cup of tea, did several beautiful takes of their song and gave us a tiny interview.  These guys aren’t touring the country for nothin’.  Truly lovely.  Let’s just say that their cd has been in constant rotation here at the Monkeywhale Studio (and in the car) since the night of the show.

Many thanks to Blind Pilot and Pete Schroth and everyone at the sound check who was patient while we stole them away.  We hope we’ve done them justice.
