Harvey's Kitchen — Lil Mikey Roohan

6 Comments 04 Dec, 2008

Mikey, a native of Brooklyn who now resides in Greensboro North Carolina has been crafting songs for a number of years.  His previous classics, “Jerking Off Tonight,” and “Bar of Soap,” have both been aired on the Howard Stern show, unless we’re making that part up.  Some of his songs have definitely been aired on the Howard Stern show along with some ditty about Robin’s profoundly large attributes.

“Jerking Off Tonight,” won 5th place in the comedy song of the year contest on Red Peter’s Music Comedy Hour.  That’s Sirius Radio, channel 101.

Now, as Christmas songs go, this one isn’t one that you’ll be singing at the Christian retreat with your grandparents.  Well, we might, but it’d be a bit weird.  So, take that as a warning if you have genteel sensibilities.

Mikey plays with 2 other bands in Greensboro, NC:  The Crap Rock Allstars and Eating the Invaders.  Incidentally, Eating the Invaders will be playing at Solaris this Friday, December 5th.

Hope this one hits the rotation on a radio station.  All the Blue Balls were provided by Mikey.  Thanks.
