Emily Moore. Justin Huey. Prolific musicians from Charlotte, NC. They brought themselves and a Rhodes piano into our kitchen and reminded us of the reason why we ventured into this project. Simple. Honest. Music. Our cat was sick at the time, and while we relaxed with a glass of wine or two and ate General Tso’s chicken we compared cat stories and wished each other well. One evening after this recording a few friends came over and one in particular donated two microphones to our venture. Thank you Adam. This recording isn’t everything, but it’s a beginning. Thank you Emily. Thank you Justin.

Thanks for your support everyone. The kitchen series began in October of 2008 for no apparent reason but whim. If you enjoy it, spread the word. Share the links on facebook. digg it. Tweet it. Save the monkeywhale.

I particularly find the ode to mandy moore to be very interesting, and especially the glasses, suprisingly fitting…

Very nice. Would love to see The Raving Knaves play in your kitchen, Harvey. And, if you have room for more filmmakers or writers, contact me. I’m married to a real good one.
