Laurelyn Dossett: Behind the Scenes

3 Comments 29 Jan, 2009

Laurelyn Dossett is a familiar name around these parts.  It’s not for nothing one of her songs was on a Grammy award winning album by Levon Helm.  If you’ve been to Triad Stage recently and seen Brother Wolf, Beautiful Star or Bloody Blackbeard you have a good idea of how talented she is.  If you’ve ever heard the award-winning Polecat Creek you know this lady can sing.  And play.  And write.

We were excited.  We heard she might bring Scott Manring which made it doubly exciting.  Talk about talent.  So here they are in our kitchen.  Which we still can’t really believe. To hear the beauty, you’ll have to check back in a bit.
